What you need to rent

Rental Conditions

  • Be a minimum of 18 years old or older
  • Sign the XRentals waiver 
  • Hold a valid Canadian Drivers license 
  • Snowmobile pre-rental session with an XRentals employee (specific snowmobile orientation & safety gear review) 
  • Make a $2500 damage deposit per snowmobile rental 
  • Follow local trail rules and regulations 
  • Report any accidents/issues with a snowmobile as soon as reasonably practical
  • Wear appropriate snowmobile protection equipment

Snowmobile Education

Whether you are an experienced rider or a complete newbie there is an abundance of educational avenues to explore. 


International Snowmobile Manufacturer association has an abundance of safe riding information.

A local training institute offers snowmobile safety courses that can be taken. XRentals will provide a discount for snowmobile renters taking this course.
